Academic demands pose unique challenges for students with a head injury. Changes in thinking skills may impact learning and social interaction. Physical symptoms like headache and noise sensitivity may make it difficult for the student to attend school. “Return to Learn” is a common phrase used to label processes used to help students return to school successfully.
